Why Sales?

I found my true passion in sales ever since I was a young kid. The first sale I made was selling bubbles across my neighborhood and pestering my neighbors that my bubbles were the best on the block. That drive and motivation I had ever since I was young followed me into my adult stages. After my bubble selling days were over, I quickly moved onto getting an actual job like when I worked in the service industry. The service industry is what truly sparked my attention in sales. Based on how likeable of a person I am and what I decide to "pitch" directly relates with how much money I make that day. I like the aspect of having autonomy over your own income in the field of sales. Also, this summer I had the pleasure of working at TPx Communications as a Sales Development Representative Intern. After dabbling in cold calling, I soon realized that 1. I enjoy sales and 2. I am good at it. I would like to use my expertise to learn more about the field of sales.

The Professional Selling Program

The Professional Selling Program (PSP) is a super beneficial, helpful, and prestigious program for students who are interested in sales.  PSP will help us grow professionally and show us how to manage the business world. This program offers tools like professional dinners with hiring managers, career fairs, networking events, etc. The program sets us up for success. This is a vigorous, demanding program that pushes us to be the best we can be which I have the pleasure to be a part of.
